Given the amount of time that has passed since the game’s announcement, the 2022 Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase would have been an excellent opportunity to reveal more info. In other words, this is as close to an official name as we’re going to get for a while. But it’s worth noting that previous Bethesda names have been correctly deduced in exactly this way.īethesda trademarked the name Skyrim well before it was officially announced, and keen eyes spotted the trademark created for Starfield prior to the E3 2018 reveal.
